Blumengrosshandel Walter Fegers (hereinafter BGH) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. This Privacy Statement is meant to inform you of how we collect, use and protect your personal information, and the choices you have in this regard.

In particular, BGH is committed to complying with the European Community Directive on Data Protection, commonly referred to as the "EU Privacy Directive". BGH has chosen to comply with the EU Privacy Directive. BGH adheres to the principles of the Safe Harbor program, which are Notice, Choice, Onward Transfer, Access and Accuracy, Security, and Oversight/Enforcement. Application of this Privacy Statement
This Privacy Statement applies to BGH, and any of its controlled subsidiaries. This Privacy Statement applies to all of BGH' products and services, as well as the BGH website that may collecting personal information.  

This Privacy Statement applies to "personal information," meaning such information that is easily identifiable with a specific individual. This Privacy Statement does not apply to statistical or other information from which your personally identifiable information cannot be determined.

How we collect information
BGH may obtain information about you in connection with our service offerings in several ways, including through our Internet website and database networks. For example, personal information is generally collected in connection with an order you make using one of our systems.

Types of information we collect
We generally collect only such personal information as is reasonably necessary to facilitate an order, payment and commission processing transactions. Such information may include without limitation such basic information as your name, address, telephone information.  

BGH generally does not require or request any "sensitive data", that is, information pertaining to racial or ethnic origins, political or religious beliefs, union membership, health or sex life. However, we may collect certain sensitive data solely in order to facilitate the accommodation of any special needs you may have in connection with your order. However, BGH does not use or share any such information for any purpose other than as described below.

How we use your information
We use your personal information to facilitate the provision of our services, and allow our staff to provide our services to you. Specifically, your personal information is used to process your order, as well as to process any commission or other amounts that may be payable  in connection with your order. 

We may use your personal information in order to update you with our marketing activities. However, you may opt-out of receiving such information at any time. 

Who we share your information with; Your information and third party companies
BGH does not sell, rent or lease your personal information to others. BGH will not share your personal information with third parties except in connection with the provision of our services to you. 

BGH contracts with third-party service providers in connection with the performance of our services. For example, BGH uses certain banking institutions to process credit lines and payments garantees. Such third-party service providers are  required to keep confidential the information received on behalf of BGH and may not use any such personal information for any purpose other than to carry out the services they are performing for BGH. These service providers may change or we may contract with additional service providers to better serve our customers.

BGH will not otherwise share personal information with any other third parties without your permission, unless we assess such disclosure to be required by law.

Your choices, privacy preferences and opting out

Within a reasonable time after receiving your request to not distribute your personal information to such third parties, we will either cease any further distribution to such third parties or notify you if such cessation is not reasonably practicable. When someone visits our Website we collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. We collect this information in a way which does not identify anyone. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this. Access to and accuracy of your information
BHG strives to keep your personal information accurate. We have implemented technology, management processes and policies to maintain data accuracy. Upon request to our Privacy Office, we will use all reasonable efforts to provide you with access to your information, including the opportunity to change your information. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access to your data. Certain areas of the BGH website may limit access to specific individuals through the use of passwords and other personal identifiers.
Certain personal information stored on our system is routinely deleted as it determined to become irrelevant. However, such routine deletion practices vary with respect to different services and types of information and some information may be stored indefinitely.

The most effective way to ensure the accuracy of your personal information in our records is to take care that you, input your information correctly.

Keeping your information secure
BGH is committed to protecting the information that you and our customers and business partners provide to us. To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, to maintain data accuracy, and to ensure the appropriate use of the information, BGH has in place appropriate physical and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect.

Our data centers and systems employ various layers of access codes and monitoring to prevent unauthorized access, and authorized access to your personal information is generally restricted to our representatives with a reasonable need for such access. We generally employ 128 bit encryption methods when collecting or transferring sensitive data such as credit card information.

Each BGH employee is generally subject to a confidentiality agreement, which would further restrict unauthorized disclosure of your personal information.

Changes to this Privacy Statement

If there are updates to the terms of Pegasus' Privacy Statement, we will post those changes and update the revision date in this document, so you will always know what information we collect online, how we use it, and what choices you have. For material changes to this Privacy Statement, Pegasus will use all commercially reasonable efforts to post notice of such change prior to implementation.

However, if you feel that we have mishandled your personal information you should provide the Privacy Officer a written description of your complaint. Within a reasonable period after receiving a complaint, the Privacy Officer will respond and make any additional good faith efforts reasonably necessary to resolve any dispute.

In the event that any citizen of the European Union is not satisfied with the BGH resolution of a complaint, BGH will cooperate with the relevant European Data Protection Authorities to resolve such citizen's complaint.
